»Board of Directors Meeting
MCCLV's Board of Directors meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 PM. The next meeting is
April 13. All are welcome to attend.
»Help Feed a Hungry World
In September, MCCLV will once again host a "Free Market" and will be giving away fresh produce to
its neighbors. Every Sunday of September at noon, tables will be set in front of the church and free fruits and vegetables
will be handed out to all in need. You can help MCCLV feed a hungry world in a variety of ways: donating produce from your
garden, sending this e-mail message to a gardening friend, purchasing produce at the grocery store and donating it to
MCCLV's Free Market efforts, shopping with a group of MCCLV'ers on Saturdays in September or making a financial donation to
support this important outreach. MCCLV offers a Free Market to connect an urban population with the rhythms of harvest time,
as well as to follow Matthew 25 ("for I was hungry and you gave me food").
»Food Card Sunday
The second Sunday of each month is Food Card Sunday. When you go to the grocery store, please
consider purchasing a food card to help others at MCCLV who are less fortunate. A collection will be taken following worship
service on April 12.

»Tricky Tray
Our 2012 Tricky Tray has been scheduled for November 3rd, 2012, and the Committee is up and running. Our goal this
year is to have all baskets donated, wrapped and ready to go early in October. That may sound like we have a lot of time but
we all know how fast that time will go. Given the financial state of our country’s economy and the impact on people
everywhere, the Committee would like to start now and spread it out over the next 7 months. What does that mean for you?
Glad you asked!
We need baskets donated for all price points ($25-$49; $50-$149; $150-$299; $300-$499; and $500+). Baskets can come from
individuals, families or groups of friends. Tricky Tray Committee Member, Maria Martucci, will be coordinating basket
donations by individuals and Committee Member, Wendy Bitterman, donations from businesses and corporations. Please speak to
them following Worship on Sundays or email them at: Maria (lambofpeace13@gmail.com)
or Wendy (Wendy.Bitterman@mcclv.org).
So, put on your creative hats and go to town! (Please be sure all baskets are appropriate for viewing by people of all
ages.) Remember, all donations are tax deductible. Thank you for your support!
